Zyqrna III, world of contrasts... third planet from the Zyqrnian sun in the that region of space known as the triangle. Unofficially claimed by the Rihannsu, Zyqrna III was settled by Rihannsu colonists a mere 80 years ago. The predominate native life forms of this plantet are the fabled telepathic Dragons.
A
tumultous world prone to sudden and unexpected magnetic storms,
Zyqrna III has entire range of diverse and changeable climates.
From the warm, almost tropical continent of D'rkynk, to the
deserts of B'kien, the lands of Zyqrna III remain essentially
unexplored, the flora and fauna uncatalogued. Strange native
creatures are continually being discovered as the Rihannsu
colonists push the boundaries of the unexplored territories of
D'ryknk ever futher back.
The mountain forests of j'lak, and the polar regions of A'qyt and L'qyt although scanned from space, have yet to be set foot on by Rihannsu. Dragon tales of fierce, unfriendly giant white furred ape-like creatures inhabiting the polar regions have effectively detered any desire for exploration of the polar areas to date.
The one truly
unique geological feature is the famed Dragon Cliffs. Abruptly
rising 
majestically from the
seashore of the D'rkynk coast, these white stone cliffs are home
to the native Dragon speicies. Although the dragons may be found
anywhere on Zyqrna III, the cliffs of D'rkynk are their main
nesting and gathering ground. Only a very few outworlders have
ever seen these cliffs.
Planetary development remains on a very primitive level. Zyqran III has only two main Rihannsu settlements, both on the continent of D'rkynk. The settlements, each consisting of less than 100 colonists, are totally agriculturally based. There is no planetary industry or space ports. Planetary defense consists of a home guard of teams of the telepahic dragons and hand-picked, telepathically bonded riders.
